Carpet Lifting & Removal

Full Monty Stripping treat carpet removal with the same level of skill and priority as any other floor extraction.

The carpets are lifted with care not to mark walls, the track strips that are normally nailed and/or glued to floors are removed and the floors are Grind to rid any unwanted adhesives.

Generally there are 3 types of carpet installations used.

1. The carpet is a direct stick, which in turn leaves the adhesives on the sub-floor after removal of carpet. Subsequently we use our Grinding equipment and specialized discs to remove all traces of adhesives.
2. The carpet is laid on a foam underlay. The carpet itself is not stuck down with any adhesives, however most times there will be some adhesives used to stick the underlay into place, in which case can be removed through Grinding the floor.
3. Carpet Tiles which in most cases is a commercial carpet installed in Offices, Show Rooms, Foyer’s and Retail Stores. Depending on the next flooring system to be installed, most sub-floors will need Grinding with our specialized equipment to remove adhesives.
